I Can’t Sleep

Because I am stuck thinking about HER even though I am pretty dam sure this wasn’t my fault…

So I am watching La Femme Nikita until my TV decides to blow up for good.

I want to text her but since she hasn’t responded all day I guess that would be unnecessary.

No funny pic… I am going back to drinking my depression away.

It's Easter Sunday

...but that has nothing to do with what I am about to blog on.

My weekend officially sucks! What went from a very promising Friday delved into a horrible Friday... which resulted in a depressing Saturday which I chose to sleep through. *looking at clock* So now it is Sunday and hopefully my world will re-align.

So Friday was alright... I guess. Work is still work. My boss is still "stand offish" but I don't care. I am trying to stay employed until I learn the skills so that I can move on on my own terms. I am sure one day soon I will do a whole blog on the work situation but since it is no longer the hotbed topic, that day is not today.

As always (well as far as the blog is concerned the hotbed issue is HER) and as I sit here right now I think that I might have lost all of hope of HER (though I am not sure what I was hoping for....

I got off work early on Friday and was going to meet RISS for drinks... and advised HER of such. She actually seemed interested in seeing me so of course I had to run and by something to wear because what I would normally wear to happy hour was ok but I wanted to step it up a little more if I was going to see her. So I went to the mall and bought a new outfit (yes I did overdo it a tad). I went to CHEL's house and showered, changed, and made up (Thank God I keep a makeup case in my car).

Small text messages back and forth as she was busy... so RISS and I went to Happy Hour at our normal spot. As I walk into the spot who do I see but... EX. Now I won't go into a big conversation about EX because the drama that we went through is more than one blog post can hold. But let's just say it was horrible...and I had to stop myself from running out the door.

Okay I did run out (but I did man up and came back lol)

So I walked in and of course he made some big show, bought RISS and I a drink... blah blah. (I am sure the girl... his verified side piece was not very happy) Kept talking and talking. (As she came right next to him and pretended to talk to the person on the other side) I kept it cool. I did the only tell tale sign being my shaking hands...

Too Many Relationships, Not Enough Bloggingq

Okay my social schedule has been jumping jumping this week. I have to recap now before I get complacent and totally slip on my blogging. Okay so.... last night I went out with GIRLY-GIRL which is weird because I haven't seen her in 5 years...

We met in 6th grade and that was all she wrote. We were together when we first skipped school, had our first kiss, and yes she was my first call when I had my first "whoppee" (so for all the guys I have lied to over the years no you weren't my 2nd and no I didn't lose my virginity in college...*whew* glad I got that out in the open). I loved her to death. We had notebooks that we would pass in class over the years (dozens actually) and we were inseparable.

I will never forget when she tried to teach my spanish in the 6th grade... gotta love her.

And then I left high school after sophomore year... she got a serious boyfriend... i went off to college... she had a baby,got engaged and moved... days passed...years passed... now we are damn near 30.

Well we found each other yet again via facebook. She is no longer with the ex.. her baby is now turning 4!!! and she is back in Miami....

We sat and laughed and reminisced for 3 1/2 hours and it felt great. Will we rekindle our once unbreakable bond? Will it be another 5 years before we see each other?

Well we scheduled another "date" in 2 weeks so... hopefully this isn't the end of GIRLY-GIRL
